Skating on thin ice to find the leak!

November 2012

Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena concert venue and ice skating rink had developed a leak. Our rubber flooring which is exceptionally difficult to remove once installed had to come up.

Working in two phases, we removed the existing vinyl sheeting and underlay screed to expose the underground pipework. This was then extended to the removal of our rubber floor.

While still open to the public with hundreds of school children using the facility, we had to be very precise with our work.

Panic over, leak fixed and flooring reinstated 🙂
