RESPOL celebrate FeRFA win!

December 2009

RESPOL triumphed in this year’s FeRFA Awards, picking up the ‘Trainer of the Year’ award for demonstrating a continuous commitment to training.

Due to continued expansion and policy of continual improvement, RESPOL have constructed a new facility adjacent to their offices in Overley at a cost in excess of £100,000, to create further material and machinery storage, research & development into new techniques and products, and importantly, a separate 1000 sq ft training facility. RESPOL are therefore able to develop the techniques of their personnel, at the same time training in the handling of new plant and equipment and indeed, application techniques for new products.

All RESPOL staff are qualified to “NVQ level 2 in situ flooring – resin”, with one newcomer on a CITB Apprentice Scheme.

The new facility will allow RESPOL to actively promote epoxy flooring, the processes and benefits to trainees, apprentices and anyone considering a career in epoxy resin flooring, where the main areas covered will be:

  • Health and Safety at work
  • Preparation techniques
  • Mixing and handling of materials
  • Application techniques
