Quality industrial flooring systems across 2 sites for Bosch

December 2010

Various resin flooring upgrades and new installations were completed for Bosch Thermotechnology by Respol during the run up to Christmas 2010. From a small 11 square metre area to a huge 2543 square metres, we provided the same quality and attention to detail that has made us a preferred supplier to this major, Europe-wide manufacturer of boilers.

At their Claycross works in Chesterfield, we installed a flooring system for their new training facility, removing the existing ‘hardit topping’, preparing the substrate and overlaying with Reetop P2000 resin bonded, pumped screed fast cure system that allowed other trades to complete their own installation. We returned to site to prime the whole area and install our Reeflor EL002SF system.

The boiler room also required our attention while work on the Training Facility was taking place. Working to improve the existing flooring, we diamond ground the area and then formed a 100mm high perimeter cove using Reetop ES006RG that was subsequently finished with our Reecote EC017 industrial flooring paint and finally, an covering of Reeflor EL002SF.

Further south to their Worcester site in Warndon, and the huge job of upgrading all existing gangways (2543 square metres) was starting. We mapped out and prepared the entire area and then installed our Reeflor EL002SF in blue with all work completed over weekends to avoid disturbing their normal working week.

Smaller but equally important was the new Spares area at the same site. With a brief to improve the existing flooring, we chemically prepared the substrate, infilled all bolt holes and overlaid with our Reecote EC017.

Four very different projects completed for a very happy client across two sites.
