Poured Resin Floor
Here is something that you should know about our poured floorings. A poured flooring solution is one of the most versatile choices you can make. Not only does the seamless floor have an elasticity that ensures its long-lasting attractiveness, it does not crack or shows signs of wear. As well, there are great aesthetic benefits that add to the other benefits such as the safety and hygienic aspects of seamless floors.
Because of their nature, poured resin floors provide a spaciousness to any area as it can easily flow from one part of a workspace to another without any interruption in the connections between areas. This provides a spacious open atmosphere. The smoothness of transition from area to area is appealing and even better, with its characteristics changing according to the specific demands of each area while maintaining a consistent appearance.
Suppose one part of the workspace needs anti-static properties while an adjoining space needs an anti-slip surface. This is easy enough to do. By their very nature, resin floors are customisable with the addition of additives to create the precise type of flooring that your workspace needs.
In speaking about seamless floors, it is worthwhile to mention polished concrete as an alternative. It is polished manually using special grinding equipment to grind it to a smooth surface. A hardener or densifier is layered over this surface. It is a penetrant chemical so called because it penetrates the concrete and creates a hard dust-free surface. Technology being what it is, there are innovations in creating a polished concrete floor.
Polyaspartic polyurea is one of those innovations. It is a concrete coating and sealer that provides a shiny finish. Not a bad idea but the reality is that while it looks good, it is not as long lasting as a resin floor. Nor is it as flexible.
The choice between poured resin or polished concrete depends on the end result you want.
